Nice and large but would not use for more than two cats. Very easy to assemble. The stainless steel bottom is somewhat thin. Was hoping for a heavier pan. However, the stainless steel will prevent the odor that occurs with plastic bottoms. While it does help with the scatter of litter, some litter will still come out the front opening. This should be expected. No way to prevent this completely. Started out without top off so cats could adjust. Will add top later and see how they do. Some cats do not like enclosed litter boxes. Quite a nice large bench that hides the litter tray perfectly. The lid opens either to left or right and is padded nicely for sitting if need be. Is is lined with an easily washable interior and the exterior is a nice light tan fabric. It has space for your scoop and a bag of litter in addition to the litter tray. The inside wall with an opening for the cats is nice in that it separates the flying litter area thus reducing the litter arriving as they exit to the other side of the interior wall. The included mat is easy to empty into the litter tray and helps reduce tracking. The cats have no issue using this. We bought a motion activated night light to put inside the bench so that the cats can see to do their business ($6 at Wally World). This is a great litter pan. It’s very sturdy and waste material scoops out very easily. My only problem is that I bought it to fit inside the Mize litter box enclosure and checked the measurements carefully. The pan would have fit perfectly; however, there is a lip around the edge that made it just a smidge too large and the litter box enclosure would not close.
