The griddle is sturdy and has a practical size for my stove. I tried making pita bread, but the dough stuck even though the griddle was seasoned. I love this cast iron grill! I looked at just about every cast iron grill available because I specifically wanted a grill that would fit on my middle gas burner while still allowing access to my other 4 burners.
