This was overall a great buy. It took a bit of figuring out to get the bottom ring to align in all the holes, but after taking a few deep breaths I saw the bigger picture. Be sure not to tighten the legs all the way before inserting the bottom ring because you’re going to have to shift the legs in place a little when aligning the bottom ring. OMG!!!! I’m a first time buyer of Wayfair products. I looked for at least 4 months prior to purchasing the barstools (x4) to be exact. Well, they were to arrive on the 22 of December. I was exasperated when they arrived December 20, 2025. I hurriedly got my son to assist me with putting them together. They PERFECTLY match my kitchen decor as I remodeled my entire home . The cushions are soft. The wooden legs themselves are polished. I purchased the mahogany color. It matches everything in my kitchen. It is exceptionally well made! They look expensive, say over 600 per chair when I bought them at a fraction of the price!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them and cannot wait to host my first family function utilizing the bar stools!!! Fantastic stools. Got mine in the dark gray. True to the pictures - the cream fabric is a warm off-white natural tweed-looking fabric that isn't yellowey at all. Goes with my warm greige and natural decor (which is still in progress). Not sure how long the fabric will last, but it's the perfect color with my rug, wall paint, flooring, etc. Another customer said that the wood is not smooth and could catch delicate fabrics - I agree. These Counter Stools are great. I absolutely love them! They are solid, sturdy, quality and well made. They looks so rich. The fabric is nice- not scratchy. Can pill a little over time - we've had ours over 2 years now and still getting compliments. We purchased 4, took a chance and they match our cream cabinets perfectly. Nice cream color. Someone else's review had a picture next to a white stool and it helped me see the true coloring. One of my photo's has white blinds and window trim that may help to see the level of cream color. I wish I had thought to scotchguard the fabric before assembly. I've had no issues though with spills. These were called "Tayna" by Charlton Home when I purchased them.
