The fan is very handsome (black with a gold band). The only issue we had was that it came without any instructions, whatsoever! They look good and replaced three older models. I am having trouble figuring out the remote. One remote is working with two of the fans? What? The fans are not that far apart and the remotes can't tell which fan it is linked to. So I stand in the middle and use both remotes to get the combination I want. Maybe you can figure them out. The fans are totally quiet. The three lighting choices are a plus. Two have a lighter and a darker yellowish tone and the third is a soft pure white.
