The lamp is fine, it does lamp things. I put one of those smart bulbs in it, my front room is no longer a dungeon. That said - whoever designed this thing is a masochist. Putting this labor together was the absolute low point of an otherwise terrible week, and I hope whoever decided 3 long metal bars going into tiny screw holes at an angle was a good idea has a day that matches the building experience.
