Overall the main bed frame has been solid - no shaking, which is what I was worried about. The headboard is another story, that part is not as well constructed so it's more decoration. It's also overall bigger that a Cal King mattress so there is an open space on either the top or bottom (picture), the sides are an exact fit. Since the frame is sturdy for, um, adult time, I'm glad we decided to save the money versus the much more expensive other stores! This extra large market umbrella is perfect for our outdoor pool patio. It provides excellent shade, is easy to open and close, and feels sturdy even on breezy days. It looks great and has made our space much more enjoyable! The base (shown in picture) comes with a cloth cover on top, instead of plastic.
