Very pleased with this door and installation kit! I had purchased prior barn doors from the big box stores but could not find a decent 2 paneled version at a good cost other than this one on Wayfair. Delivery timing was reasonable, and the delivery was on time and efficiently made by the delivery crew. Quality of the door and installation kit is very good. Nice touches to make installation easy (predrilled hanger holes + pre mortised guide slot at the base of the door). Simple and clear instructions made it easy to install...............Very happy with the finished result.. Andrew. Walton Hills, OH. Mon Jul 06 2026

SMARTSTANDARD is committed to providing high-quality, customized, and durable Barn Doors to satisfy your home decoration and security needs.

This product is very solid and high quality. Only thing I didn’t like was that the satin nickel rail is 3 pieces for an 8 foot rail. Makes installation more difficult than a one or two piece rail. The other door I purchased used a black rail that was 2 pieces. Other than that the door is solid and easy to assemble but very heavy. I wasn’t expecting it to be so heavy but it is a 48 x 84 solid door so it makes sense. Love having full access to our closet now!. Neal. Billerica, MA. Tue Sep 08 2026

I really have to say these doors are better than the picture. The finish is a matte black (almost between dark charcoal and black), the etched pattern is very prominent which I was worried it wouldn’t be bold enough and they are heavy and solid.. Jill. Boston, MA. Fri Mar 17 2023

Love the 36 x96 Barn door , but the track was only 6 ft long which meant the opening of the door was shy to shut comfortably with each side only having 1 in overall ! The track should have been at least 6.5 feet long !. Anonymous. Sun May 26 2024

Sanding insists on providing the best quality, the safest, and the most cost-effective products. A Barn door is an excellent space-saving solution versus a traditional swing door while adding unique characteristics to any room. This barn door is made of manufactured wood .

For the original closet in the house, which is fairly small, this was the ticket to closet door perfection. When its open theres plenty of room to get through the doorway, and, it folds to the side, not shrinking the room. Great paintable finish but we arent going to paint it. It looks great just the way it is. L. Vancouver, WA. Mon Sep 28 2026

Constructed of high quality MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard). A composite material milled in a one-piece frame to withstand changes in heat and humidity better than solid wood.

Quality is okay--on second door as first one was damaged. Paint is almost a matte finish that shows dirt quickly--going to repaint it black again with gloss finish. Annie. Plattsburgh, NY. Wed Aug 23 2023
