I’m a big fan of this electric fireplace. I chose not to have it recessed or installed flush into the wall, and honestly, I’m still really happy with how it looks. Once it was mounted and I styled the area around it with my mantel and decor, the fact that it isn’t recessed really doesn’t stand out. It still gives the room a very finished, polished look and adds a lot of warmth and ambiance to the space. I like that I was able to get the fireplace effect I wanted without doing a more permanent recessed installation. The unfinished barn door is made of 100% natural spruce. The surface is unfinished and ready to be stained. The unfinished door can be stained or painted to the desired finish/color.

I received the door in 1 day after ordering, which was really good. I started working on it and put it together and finished it a day later. It looks great. It's very smooth opening and closing.
