Door does fit opening as advertised. I subtracted a star due to the wood being fragile. During install we cracked and dented it quite a bit on the bottom. We were very careful but it still kept happening. Thankfully it is at the bottom and most people won’t notice. I suggest wrapping bottom in rags or something while you are installing and when it’s setting on the floor and you are screwing parts into it.
