I wanted a non-stick griddle that would be good for eggs or pancakes. I know these types of teflon non-stick pans are being fazed out for ceramic non-stick. Great pots and pans for the price never know what to buy anymore but this set I have purchased several times, they last several years with 4 hungry boys that torture them, dropping them using metal utensils cutting steaks in the pan with a sharp knife and the pans still keep on cooking….end of buying new set every 3-4 years not from the pans failure but from the kids torturing them and even then it’s just a skillet or 2 not the whole set… now we have lots of great pans…use them every day!!!. I absolutely love these pans but for some reason water gets trapped in all the lids between the glass and the metal. I can’t get it out and it’s still there after leaving it out to evaporate overnight. I’ve filed a warranty claim and they are sending me new lids but I feel like it’s a design issue and may happen again. What a work of art I thought I was crazy for spending so much money on 1 single pot after opening it I have zero regrets.I did some research before buying and was scared I would get a Chinese copy but as you can see from the photo it has made in Brazil right on the bottom to me that’s a big win.When I took it out of the box I thought forsure it had something in it because it’s extremely heavy for it size and the fit and finish is top notch very pleased with my purchase hopefully this will last me a lifetime much better than replacing 15-20$ pot every few years after the toxic coatings come off in my food..
