Ordered this door for a bedroom, fits pretty good. When the door arrived it had a little damage but decided to keep it and repair damage. We didn't paint it before it was hung. Only drawback is that it is VERY fragile, the finish as it chips super easily. My husband dropped one of the hinges and it bounced and hit the door and left a big chip in the black finish.
