Sitting at the perfect height for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, and pub tables, barstools have a leg up on other seating options. Take this bar stool for example: perfectly suited for your home’s traditional aesthetic. It features an open full back design, a 360-degree swivel range, and a built-in footrest. The frame of this bar stool is crafted from wood, in a brown cherry finish, with black faux leather upholstery.

I bought 2 for the kitchen island. They look less elegant than the photo and the swivel isn’t smooth or easy but overall they are ok and seem sturdy. Putting them together was ridiculously hard because the screws that connect the seat to the bottom don’t easily turn, and as others have mentioned, you have to put in the seat before the back so that it fits properly. After all these years and reviews, it’s kind of unbelievable that they haven’t updated the instructions.. Jill. New York, NY. Sat Jun 01 2024

Love love love it! Very comfy... will need to get some extra pillows. There is no lumbar support, so get a lumbar pillow. But very stylish and comfortable outside of that. Update: The cushion you sit on does not relax at all. So when you sit in it, you feel like you're going to slide right out, unless you're sitting all the way to the back. Lumbar support is a must, otherwise there's a gap between your lower back and the back cushion, which sinks inward. One of the chairs came apart on us and we had to un-assemble it and put it back together. Hopefully that won't happen again. We've had guests sit in them and say "these are really weird" and I've apologized because you feel like you're going to slide right out. I'll be replacing them sooner rather than later.. Patricia.
