This chair feels substantial. Assembly was very easy and we encountered no issues. The material is a faux leather that feels nice to touch. The heating element warms quickly. You can control the massage functions with the attached remote. It is not as intense as an actual massage chair but it does feel good. I took a half star off for the color. It says cream but this is actually a really yellow cream, almost like butter. I took another half star off for the pull lever on the seat that you have to use to extend the leg support. Chair was purchased as a gift for my husband for Father’s Day. There were issues with shipping. The item was showing as available until ordered then it showed as backordered and did not ship for a week. Despite my order saying the item was backordered, it was still showing up as in stock on Wayfair. There was no communication regarding the change in status or about shipping being delayed, which was frustrating. Regarding the chair, for a recliner this chair is on the smaller side, which works perfectly for us and our space. Overall it is very comfortable and the saddle color is beautiful. They do take a minute to assemble, and the instructions aren't great (had to redo a few bolts to get everything to line up properly, tip--get every bolt in before you tighten any of them, even a little bit), but the quality feels really nice. Also, if it matters to you, the swivel is not a "return" swivel. So if you're sitting in it, you can turn around, but they don't automatically return to the original position, which means I still have to go around and straighten them. The reviews on this chair made me a little nervous, but they’re honestly not bad! They arrived well-packaged and were outrageously easy to assemble. The swivel feature is smooth and silent, and the cushions/fabric are comfortable. They don’t exactly look expensive (the fabric is a little loose on the rear of the chairs, and the upper cushion is under-filled, so it looks like it will sag quickly), but they weren’t expensive, and for the price, I can’t complain at all. For a rec room, playroom, basement den, or kids’ room, they’ll be perfect. I expect we’ll relocate these to my preteen boys’ bedrooms soon, because they love them! The footrest is easy to lift with a lean-back maneuver and it stays in place just fine, although the chairs don’t really “recline” (as in, all the way backward).
