Also, if it matters to you, the swivel is not a "return" swivel. So if you're sitting in it, you can turn around, but they don't automatically return to the original position, which means I still have to go around and straighten them. This is a lovely bar stool. I bought two of them for our bar area. The mechanism for swiveling is easy and assembly wasn’t too bad. I am fairly handy and it took a bit longer than described.
