Putting them together was ridiculously hard because the screws that connect the seat to the bottom don’t easily turn, and as others have mentioned, you have to put in the seat before the back so that it fits properly. They do take a minute to assemble, and the instructions aren't great (had to redo a few bolts to get everything to line up properly, tip--get every bolt in before you tighten any of them, even a little bit), but the quality feels really nice. Also, if it matters to you, the swivel is not a "return" swivel. So if you're sitting in it, you can turn around, but they don't automatically return to the original position, which means I still have to go around and straighten them.
