I'm obsessed with my new doors! Exactly as pictured. I love the texture and quality. You do have to assemble the doors, but it was easy with clear instructions. The only issues I had was with mounting the railing. My studs weren't 16 inches apart to meet up with the pre-drilled holes. These doors are heavy so you have to make sure you put the bolts in studs. I thought about a header board but that would've made a larger gap between the door and the wall. So I drilled new holes in the railing to place the bolts in studs (which wasn't as easy as I expected). The gap between the door and wall is about 3/4in without a header. Really solid door, paint finish is amazing, but it is not really very printable. It would need to be scuffed up well to take any paint, so when one side accidentally had trim applied to it and there were tiny nail holes after we removed the trim strip the painters were concerned about painting the whole door because the finish wouldn't be as good if they had to prep the whole door and eventually the paint-over could fail vs if we just kept most of the door untouched and just painted the one style to cover the small nail holes. For the past few months, I’ve been updating all the doors in my home, switching them from white to black. When I came across this door, I decided to order it for my closet to add a different design and save myself from having to paint another one. It does come with additional tape-on trim to add panels to the doors if desired. We opted to keep them as they come. We weren’t brave enough to install the recessed handles yet, but will in the future. Overall very satisfied and ordered another set for my office. A few issues we had 1. The instructions were easy to follow , but we ended up having to use some thicker foam 3M tape to install the fascia. The instructions advise installing the railing 12” from the front of the closet but this caused the fascia to sit too recessed and didn’t look quite how we wanted. 2. One of the roller brackets was bent, causing one door to sit uneven. We were able to overcome this by adjusting the other bracket height to make it straight.
