This double sliding door is one giant heavy beast, probably because of the 14” thick 2 glass door panels and the heavy duty hardware. It’s a beautiful unit but I really didn’t think it through. My shower is a fiberglass shell and because my house is over 100 years old, we don’t know yet if there are intact studs behind the shell. I bought 3 of these kits for my closet doors. My doors are 1 3/8 thick. I read a lot of reviews stating they would not work. At first they didn't work for me either, but after reading comments and looking at the instructions, if you place the rollers right ( by #) and put the door with #1 rollers in the back, it will work out with no scrapping. I gave it a four because it did not explain this well and I did a lot of extra work before I realized the issue! Our contractor told us we probably had to get a custom shower door made, but I found this and thought we could try it. Ended up working out PERFeCTLY and it was a fraction of the price of the custom quotes!! Definitely need professional installation, but they had no problem putting it in. I can only review this on look and packaging at this time because I haven't been able to install it yet. But it came nicely packaged and it looks like it has everything I need to install it. I got it because I have a smaller shower and it was the only one I could find that would fit. Which from the look of it, it will. It is a really nice, sturdy door, and it pivots instead of slides.
