Have this for about 15 months. Using Barkeepers for stainless steel to clean but over time, some spills have become impossible to remove. Any recommendations on other acceptable safe cleaners? I have black stainless steel. The cooktop works well. Too bad the hortizontal piece on which the knobs sit become very hot when the stove is in use. Need to be careful. Isn't porcelain some type of ceramic? I wonder how they turn it into a surface layering for this stove. I think they did a great job. The burners are also pretty solid. Cast iron grate seems hard-wearing. The grates on my old range eventually began to rust, which I doubt would happen to the grates on this one. But, I think it's too black, but that's just me.
