I have searched for quite some time to find a ceiling medallion for my walk-in closet chandelier. Most ceiling medallions sold online are flimsy hollow plastic but this one is solid wood and is absolutely beautiful! Of course I wanted a solid plaster medallion, but those are very expensive and typically purchased from a lighting company, but this one will definitely fit the bill since it was prefinished and all we have to do is put adhesive on it and put it on the ceiling. Very happy with this ceiling medallion. The light fixture I had originally ordered for the room felt too small and this gave it the dimension in the room that was missing. Pretty simple to install. Arrived a day late but was well packed. Laid out in a way that the top pieces are the ones you need to assemble first. No digging for the next piece. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The firebox was less than we hoped for. The flames were not of high quality like we've had on a different electric fireplace we had, and it seems like it consists of a bulb inside a spinning drum to get the effect, which would be OK, but the spinning drum makes more noise than you'd expect and detracts from the whole effect. Summary: The mantel is awesome. The firebox, much less than awesome. Wish I could replace just the firebox with something better.
