Our contractor opened the box and found that the sink had a crack running the length of the sink. We contacted the manufacturer through the Wayfair website. We heard back from the manufacturer within 24 hours and they told us that they would replace the sink. However, there is no way that one can separate the sink from the countertop. We called a Wayfair representative and within 24 hours Wayfair had reordered our item to replace the broken one. It arrived today and looks beautiful. I would rank the vanity 5 stars out of 5 stars and thank Wayfair for such prompt resolution of the problem; however, I ranked it 4 stars out of 5 because of the inconvenience of receiving the broken item. There should be quality control in regards to checking an item before packaging it. There was no evidence on the package that something was damaged in transit. We have ordered a lot of items from Wayfair and this was the first time we had a problem. We would definitely order from Wayfair again, especially with their customer support team!. Emily. Taking a page from something vintage but something new this sink is crafted of durable genuine fire clay. A full 36 inch apron farm sink in fire clay has a double bowl design and includes bottom grids & drains. Double bowl design let you do separate tasks to divide and conquer! Elegant lines give a clean look and just the right touch for a full-capacity kitchen! Sides of sink have a slight 1/4" taper from top to bottom. There are many benefits to fire clay which is sturdy and durable. Its glazed surface inhibits bacterial growth more than stainless steel. It is eco-friendly requiring less cleansers. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to .25". A note about fire clay: small cracks will appear on the un-glazed underside of the sink, these are cosmetic only and have no impact on the performance of the sink.

I’ve only been using it for about 2-3 weeks, but, it looks beautiful and is HUGE. It’s like each side is a full sink almost. It’s very deep which is an issue for us because we are tall. The stainless steel grids help to raise things and keep the bottom of sink safe, plus the dishes. Glad I got the double sink with the divider in the middle. This kitchen sink comes with an included grid and drain. Finished in a matte glaze that mimics the effect of concrete. It has ombre variations of gray. It also has a side set drain that allows for more unobstructed under-cabinet space. A large single-bowl design, slopes, and tapers to the bottom of the basin. The compatible bottom grid is included and the drain can be placed to either side - so you get the most function out of your sink! The grid will help to protect against chipping from any dropped pots or pans with its soft feet and bumpers, while also letting the water run below dishes to the drain. The top edge of the sink is glazed so it can be top-mounted as well as under-mounted. Fireclay is an eco-friendly natural material. The large single basin will help to maximize space and accommodate even the largest kitchen and bakeware with no problem. A note about fireclay sinks: due to the curing process, small surface cracks typically appear on the underside of the sink. These cosmetic flaws are from the molding process and do not affect the performance or visible luster of the sink.

For this reason, we recommend waiting to receive your actual sink before purchasing a cabinet or making cuts to countertops. Dimensions will vary by up to .25 inches.
