Soooo I think I saw that it was white and assumed it was painted and ready to go, but it does need to be painted. It is primed, but if you look at the closeup you can see it is unfinished. Needs a light sanding and paint. It is beautiful though. I ordered a barn door from Wayfair from a different maker and it came fully boxed, whereas this one came wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic and had boxing only at the top and bottom and was missing the rail to mount it. The first door I ordered was damaged in transit and it didn’t even make it to me before being returned to Wayfair. A couple weeks after I ordered it, I messaged Wayfair and they went ahead and ordered a replacement that was here in 2 days. Always choose Wayfair for their incredible customer service. The door is beautiful and not a farm house type of look like I was worried, it’s more classy and adds a lot of charm and texture. It’s not overly heavy, pretty straightforward to put up.. Jennifer. Door does fit opening as advertised. I subtracted a star due to the wood being fragile. During install we cracked and dented it quite a bit on the bottom. We were very careful but it still kept happening. Thankfully it is at the bottom and most people won’t notice. I suggest wrapping bottom in rags or something while you are installing and when it’s setting on the floor and you are screwing parts into it. Ordered (3) 30"x80" of these hollow core doors, went through 3 replacements because they kept getting damaged in transit, these are the one that were delivered as good, still had to patch them with wood filler, sand and paint. They only arrive wrapped in plastic, suggestions to the manufacturer at least use cardboard for protection of the delicate hollow core doors.
