The reviews on this chair made me a little nervous, but they’re honestly not bad! They arrived well-packaged and were outrageously easy to assemble. The swivel feature is smooth and silent, and the cushions/fabric are comfortable. They don’t exactly look expensive (the fabric is a little loose on the rear of the chairs, and the upper cushion is under-filled, so it looks like it will sag quickly), but they weren’t expensive, and for the price, I can’t complain at all. For a rec room, playroom, basement den, or kids’ room, they’ll be perfect. I expect we’ll relocate these to my preteen boys’ bedrooms soon, because they love them! The footrest is easy to lift with a lean-back maneuver and it stays in place just fine, although the chairs don’t really “recline” (as in, all the way backward).
