These chairs are very high quality and sturdy. It’s difficult to find office chairs that the seat height is at least 20” and these fit the bill. There is a slight degree difference in the pitch of the seat front and slightly lower at the rear which is perfect for comfort, posture and keeping the seat at my preferred height. The only complaint are the directions for putting together the round base - there is a correct side - make sure you insert the hydraulic mechanism first to figure out the top and bottom before installing the wood covers. I would've given the chair five (5) stars as it is simply beautiful. Red leather is beautiful and finely designed. However, the flawed design mechanics required demerits. The screw holes to the base and the screw holes to the chair did not aligned and required me to use my adjustable grip pliers. When I was finally able to tighten the screws, the screw heads were stripped. When I turned the chair upright to sit down, a metal piece fell to the floor. The adjustable bar in the base which allows the chair to rise and fall as well as recline comes all the way out of the chair. I deduced the metal piece which broke loose when I turned the chair upright, that was it's function to keep the adjustment bar from coming all the way out. Mechanical control. All Triune Business Furniture chairs are furnished with a standard control which has 4 specific functions. A 360 degree swivel. A tilt-back action which allows the user to tilt the entire chair backward for a change of position or to be more comfortable when you are not working on a desk or other surface. An adjustable tension which makes the chair either easier or harder to tilt. A tilt-lockout which prevents the chair from tilting backward.
