The package and all parts arrived undamaged, parts are well organized in the box with clear labeling, instruction manual is well written with clear/simple drawings, the chair color (light walnut) looks good as advertised, and the chair assembly is painless. First, the included wrench is marginal. IMO, start your chair assembly with a standard wrench - it'll make for a more pleasant experience. Second, I would pre-drill all the screw hole ends to eliminate wood cracking, specifically the seat back (see photo). Use a 3/32" drill bit or smaller on hole ends to prevent wood cracking. The chair itself does NOT fold for storage. The "gray" chair is not really gray. It is a medium brown with a slightly gray-green cast to the stain. It is quite a bit darker in life than it appears on my screen. Assembly was smooth. It took me about 30-45 minutes, working alone. There is only one step where a second person would have been helpful (attaching the seat back to the seat base); I was able to compensate by propping the back up using one of the not-yet-attached armrests. I bought two chairs. One of them was an open box item. There were some slight differences in in pieces affecting assembly. One chair had pilot holes for the screws and another did not. One came with the legs for the footrest part already attached; the other required that I attach it. The footrest legs of one fold up tightly; the other folds up loosely.
