When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place.. The table set is beautiful. It doesn’t have all the color variations that I thought it would but the dark brown works in our space. We have a pretty small lanai under roof so I am very happy I did the oval table versus a rectangle one. The only thing I wish were better were the chairs, as they’re a bit on the small side. When looking at the width measurement note that includes the arms coming down. Won’t be chairs we spend hours in but they’re definitely pretty and functional especially in a small area.. Becky. I had my 16 yr old son assemble this table without any assistance. This was his first project. He got it assembled! Parts were loose. I had to explain what a self locking nut was and that he needed either a socket or wrench to tighten the screw to the nut. After a brief demonstration, he nailed it. I like this table a lot but it’s not perfect. We are keeping it. PROS umbrella hole. Nice size- can easily fit 6 people around it., glass top is really nice. CONS side panels don’t come all the way up so you see through the leg area. Side panel is actually shorter amount of “wicker” than shows in the photo.Not sure how durable it will be. We like the look of this table on our deck. The 54” added 6” to our previous seating capacity which we wanted without having to change the existing rug. The 4 rating is due to an obvious seam where the top halves meet; something I was wary of prior to buying. It took 45 minutes for my husband and me to put it together. It was not easy, so if you are not good with tools and many screws, washers, nuts and bolts, you may want to get a table from a big box store or super expensive table from a patio store.. Jean.
