Ill admit, there was a point during assembly when I considered putting everything back in the box. The finished stools are really cute, but the instructions could definitely be clearer. Instead of labeling each individual piece, the parts were grouped in labeled bags. That sounds great until you realize some of the pieces look almost identical. I kept mixing up two of them because the instructions referred to the outside, but depending on which way I was holding the piece, every side felt like the outside. It took several attempts before everything finally clicked into place. Once I got past that hurdle, the rest of the assembly went much more smoothly. They also included plenty of extra hardware, which Im sure is intentional, but it always makes me wonder if I accidentally skipped a step somewhere. The stools are really cute once theyre assembled. The back is fairly low, so if youre looking for a lot of back support, keep that in mind. I actually like it because I tend to sit crisscross at the counter, and these are comfortable for that. The faux leather isnt the highest quality Ive seen, but it looks nice and fits the overall style. They feel sturdy, are a great counter height. First off when I was putting these bar stools together, one of them had a hole for the screw that had been crushed. Reached out to support and they sent me a replacement stool free of charge which was huge. Now to the actual bar stool. These are the perfect height for counters or a bar, it comes with an easy swivel that isnt hard to move but also not gonna move on its own. The cushion is my favorite part because its actually super comfy. One of the more comfortable ones I've sat in to be honest. Also the chairs are easy to assemble with clear instructions. Note: if you’re a larger person or are looking for a stool you’ll want to lounge in for hours this might not be the best choice. The chair width won’t accommodate really large people. I was looking for a lower profile stool that still had good back support and these were it! They are cushy and soft and supportive. They were the perfect color as well. My only wish is that they had foot rests on the sides as well, but that's because I'm used to that now. One cushion has a small gouge that would have split more as we sat on it, so I requested a replacement and Wayfiar was so quick to respond! We had a replacement within the week. I received these stools through Wayfair’s tride and true program. Overall, I am very happy and would probably purchase them even for the current retail price (on sale for 183.99) They are even more pretty in person. The walnut wood back shell is gorgeous and so much more rich in person. The photos online show an almost dark espresso brown wood but it is a walnut. The marks on the leather are also different in person, with slightly more lightdark spots and less marbling looking spots like the listing photos. I prefer the in-person leather. The cushion underneath sounds cheap (you can hear the air compressing and some cracking like a cheap foam) but I don’t even care because they are comfy! They were also super easy to put together. I only had one issue with a back brace not aligning with the hole but I took it out and re-tried and it aligned itself. Overall, very happy and super excited to bring these over to my new place.. First off when I was putting these bar stools together, one of them had a hole for the screw that had been crushed. Reached out to support and they sent me a replacement stool free of charge which was huge. Now to the actual bar stool. These are the perfect height for counters or a bar, it comes with an easy swivel that isnt hard to move but also not gonna move on its own. The cushion is my favorite part because its actually super comfy. One of the more comfortable ones I've sat in to be honest. Also the chairs are easy to assemble with clear instructions.
