[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just installed the Kwikset Prescott Single Cylinder Handle set with the Sedona Lever on my sister’s front door and she’s thrilled!! What an upgrade!! We went with brushed nickel and it is so classically beautiful- the kind of set that just never goes out of style. My husband handled the install again and it was just as easy as the other Kwikset handles we have installed. The build feels really substantial, and the lever operation is incredibly smooth. But honestly what really won my heart was the finish itself, it’s exceptionally smooth and polished looking, way better than most brushed nickel finishes I’ve seen. No rough edges, pitts or inconsistencies, just completely smooth and refined. Timeless and classic. I ordered these deadbolts in both the Venetian and Oil Rubbed Bronze finish to match the Baldwin “tube double dummy door lever with contemporary round rose” and the “passage door” lever in Venetian bronze. It’s hard to tell from the photos which deadbolt finish (Venetian or Oil Rubbed Bronze) would be a better match for these levers. I have yet to receive the Venetian Bronze but will update with photos with my feedback. So far, the ORB finish seems like a close match. I just replaced my previously purchased Kwikset lock due to internal failure of the Cylinder lock. The cast area of cylinder retention (Snap ring Groove) in the Chassis failed and the Cylinder lock fell out when the key was removed. No external damage to the cylinder lock or Chassis was noted. The lock lasted 8 years installed with daily use. I believe this was a one-off manufacturing material failure so I replaced it with the same model. I recently installed this lock on my back door of my home. I replaced an older Kwikset lock so the installation was simple and it was surprisingly easy to rekey both sides of the lock.
