the design of this brass door stop is very nice and elegant - the shape is lovely and it looks very durable. However, I was disappointed to find that it didnt come with any hardware to mount it to the floor. Given the weight and design of the stop, I expected it to be easy to install, but without the screws, Im left wondering if Ill need to purchase additional hardware. Overall, Id recommend this product to those who are looking for a stylish door stop, but be aware that you may need to source your own mounting screws. Very easy to install and look great. I have been living with door stops for uneven doors for the past 8 years- finally got a quote for repair that was outrageous, and decided I'd go this route instead. I got the brass color (which is an antique/aged brass tone- not the bronze color pictured) and am considering using some rub and buff to make the silver magnets the same tone... however it still looks good with the two tones. One thing to note- to take the smaller piece apart for screwing in, you'll need to push in the middle silver piece and hold it against the back with your thumb and pointer finger to turn. An elegant and very efficient and effective way to hold the doors in place, very easy to fit in place I did it by myself and with minimal hassle. We replaced 5 doors with it as it match other new hinges etc, the wind doesn’t move the doors, very quite to use when open the door . It is a great addition to any home renovation.
