This blender emulsified a small portion of vegetables well. It has done the job I needed. I gave it 4 stars because I did have to open the container a couple of times to push the food into the blades. A pusher would be a good addition for the blender. This BPA-free 60.8 fluid ounce Tritan jar with attached cross blade and vacuum adaptor is designed for use with the Power Blender. The vacuum adaptor works with the Fresh & Save vacuum food storage system. The vacuum adaptor can be swapped out for the tamper plug to convert the lid into a traditional blender lid.

The power of this blender is great. But the design is severely flawed. A corner tab broke off the lid, and this corner has a small pin that goes into the handle to make the whole device work. So now I use a chopstick to make it run. The handle is also hollow, so if you put it in the wash or something drops into the tiny hole, the handle gets food/water in it and grows mold.
