We needed a floor lamp to go with our new sectional. The room is large and open to the kitchendining area so I wanted something tall enough to not block any views and to be proportional to the size of the room. This lamp is perfect with its size and simple elegance. It was easy to assemble and the base is heavy enough to keep my grandkids from knocking it over.
