All nuts, washers, bolts and two simple tools were included and well-marked. The chairs are attractive, very sturdy, comfortable with three reclining positions and there’s a fold up with a handle for transporting. Although they are heavy we feel that this is a reflection of the high quality HDPE material that will not deteriorate in the weather as our two previous wooden chairs did. Overall, this is a really nice Adirondack chair. It came well-packed, and was relatively easy to put together. It took probably about an hour, and, other than one awkward step attaching the back to the base, was doable by one person. The HDPE material is sturdy and high quality, with no rough spots or mottled color. The adjustable recline and footstool option are very nice. The only parts that aren’t great (and the reason for four stars rather than three), is the cupholder is very small, and, no matter how I adjust the back, I cannot get the locking pins to engage.
