It works well styled minimally, but gives the option to add more on the bottom shelf if you want a fuller look. Assembly was quick and easy, about 10 minutes to unbox and another 10 minutes to put together. My only small complaint is that the bumper pads under the glass are visible and come in a light/translucent color. Black would have blended better. I’ll likely swap them out, but it’s a minor detail. Elegant, polished. Elevates look of my guest room. Gives guests a surface to place personal items. Would have given 5 stars but the marble had a crack right down the middle. Need to improve packaging. I opted not to go through the hassle of returning because it was a clean crack across the middle and the pieces are held to the base by screws…most importantly, was not noticeable unless looking very very closely…seems to blend with the veining of the marble..
