I ordered a pair of these tables as end tables for my sofa and am very pleased with them. They arrived in perfect condition, were simple to assemble, and are very attractive. They are sturdy because the marble base is heavy. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is that there was a paper enclosed stating that the surface is porous and might stain from liquids or foods. I thought petrified wood was less porous than marble and that is one reason why I chose this table. The paper recommends polishing with carnauba wax to help protect the surface, so I bought some and plan to do that.. Anonymous. Sat Oct 24 2026
