Just received this record player stand today and was able to get it put together (with hubby's help!) in about an hour. It's made from engineered wood, so not a high class piece of wood furniture, but absolutely seems sturdy enough for its intended use. I ordered the white stand with a black top, and it really is a lovely unit. I will agree with a couple of other users that the plug-ins (two plug-ins & a USB) are a great idea, but they are located on the top of the unit and are not accessible if your record player or audio equipment is deeper than 11 inches. It might have been better for the plug-in unit to be situated on the side of the stand. For me, I will be covering it up with my record player and just draping the power cord off the back edge, which will work out fine. Five stars but for the plug-in design.. Jeri. Haxtun, CO. This is not my first record player stand, but my record collection has outgrown the previous stand. This is available in all brown wood look material or black/brown combination. The black/brown was my choice and is very attractive. One of the features is that this record player stand doesn't simply sit on the floor. There are four metal legs elevating it off the floor. For me this is a much more higher end look. It is very sturdy and holds all of my collection easily with room to grow. We love all of the space for movies and games as well. The standard set up works perfectly for my needs but there is a removeable shelf to help adapt to other needs if necessary. There are precut holes for cords with outlets that are built in and hidden on the bottom shelf to hide unsightly cords. Provided are four standard outlets so you can plug in multiple items or have a charging station. This is a nice size to make a statement in a living room or bedroom rather than a piece that gets pushed into a corner. I would recommend this for the price also. It is a bargain for how well made it is. My husband assembled this and was impressed that they sent glue for the dowels that makes it that much stronger. Assembly was straight forward but just have patience because there are a lot of parts.. Terry. Birch Run, MI. Mon Dec 08 2025
