This upholstered bed is gorgeous. I love the natural cream color and light tan piping on the ends. I was worried it was going to look cheap but looks very expensive and I love the calm feeling it brings to my bedroom. There were several other cream upholstered bed frames (very popular ones) that I considered before purchasing this one, but due to my high ceilings I needed a taller headboard and this definitely fits the bill. I havent assembled this yet but I have unpacked the pieces. Looks like it will be pretty solid - steel frame is very heavy. The headboard is shorter than I expected but hopefully ok. Very beautiful and well made bed. Assembly was straight forward, not that many steps, just look at and obey each and every step. We had to backtrack on a couple places, so just read and re-read the instructions. But very easy straightforward assembly. Color is very complementary and the base is solid and well built.
