Daughter loves her bed! It seems pretty sturdy. The negatives for me are the side opposite of the desk is unfinished, it just has black backing on the side so it limits where the bed can be placed from an aesthetic perspective it basically has to be in a corner if you don’t want to see the black backing side. This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down. I just set this bed up and I’m happy with it so far. The height of the bed is perfect due to the slope in my ceiling to the wall, and it looks well-proportioned in the room. The upholstered headboard looks great in person and gives the space a clean, elevated feel. Assembly was straightforward and everything lined up as it should. Once assembled, the bed feels very solid and stable with no creaking or movement. The upholstery fabric is soft to the touch, but it is on the thinner side, which I actually don’t mind since it still looks smooth and tailored. The frame itself feels sturdy and well constructed. The only issue I had is that my order did not include the charging station that was listed. I’ve reached out to customer service about the missing piece, but even without it, I’m very satisfied with the bed overall.
