I really like these screens. I bought an 8' piece of C-channel, cut it in half, and mounted each screen between the two pieces. Then I was able to attach them to my patio fence to help block the view a bit without completely obscuring the scenery. Plants will go in next. This privacy insert arrives in its bare steel state and can take several months for the rust patina to develop. During the initial rusting phase, rust will drip from the surface of the screen. Veradek recommends placing an appropriate protective barrier between the screen and ground to ensure no stains are left behind.
