Easy to grow in a wide range of soils, easily adapts to full Sun or full shade, is drought tolerant once established and is cold hardy down to an occasional 30-deg F. Hardy in USDA plant zones 8-11, it is not recommended to grow this plant outdoors in cooler climates. The sago palm in the 6 inch pot arrived with a few brown tips. I clipped them, repotted the sago palm, watered it with some Miracle Grow and it has been growing very well.
