Using this timer, we did a retrofit to enable our new front porch chandelier to be an automatic dusk to dawn light. This product is a replacement for the 6kw unit that i had for 10 years. I actually don't have a use for the lights and speakers as my shower is already done. Not very happy with the programmability of the unit. You can only run the unit in 30 min increments. So if it takes 15 minutes to get up to temp you have to run it for another 30 + 15 remaining from the preheat. Maybe I'll find a way to not have to add 30 min. We had a friend tell us to make sure we put a towel warmer in! So glad we did! The square shape matched all our Square accessories! This particular one can be hot wired or plugged in. So mine just plugs into the wall! You do have to turn it on and off. And it usually take a minute to get warm… (it doesn’t have an emergency to hot turn off in it) so we are going to look for some kind of timer maybe to leave it plugged into. But we do enjoy it!.
