A beautiful wall clock that combines the fine texture of wood and paper. Thomson Paper has a clock face made of an unique design paper called Mermaid, named after the ripples of the sea, the home of the mermaid. Gentle, pleasant, and with superb choice of color, designer Yuichi Nara creates a three-dimensional numbers on the Thomson Paper's clock face using the iconic Thomson die-cutting machine, used to manufacture puzzles. The edges of the number outlines stamped out are naturally rounded like a tensed water surface and drop soft shadows into the spaces stamped out. Part of the Lemnos Plywood core collection.

I gulped a little bit before dropping $170 on a wall clock, but the blue color was just what we were looking for to pick up the same tone as our kitchen island. I also liked the 3D "carving" of the numerals into the paper clock face. Once arrived and on the wall, it hits all the right things and looks great. We are very happy with it. The handmade decanter distinguishes by an elegant and complex design. Modeled after a musical horn’s coiled shape, the decanter is formed freely without the help of any molds and proves extremely difficult to create. Requiring three master glassblowers’ efforts, the horn’s form is mouth blown with two openings on either end, the larger of which is to be used for both receiving and pouring the wine.

Issued during World War II as an emergency issue after the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Hawaii Brown Seal Note was a response to a possible Japanese invasion. The $1.00 United States issued currency has the word Hawaii stamped on both the right and left sides of the face of the bill. A large outline of the word Hawaii dominates the reverse of the bill. The silver $1.00 certificate is also recognizable by the brown treasury stamp and serial numbers that adorn the bill. The Hawaii Brown Seal Note is mounted in an acrylic frame and may be viewed from both the front and back sides. A certificate of authenticity is stamped on the matting.
