After H**e D***t sent me an empty parcel that was supposed to have my threshold and couldn't send me a replacement in time for install, this was the next best thing. The color is as described, shiny silver, wish they had more of a matte color. Be sure to pre-measure your space! We had to trim this length wise (door length) and the fit for the width that covers both sides of the floors was too narrow so we had to adjust the floors. I bought this to replace the mdf mouldimg that our builder installed in our house and that is comparable to cardboard in my opinion. If something bumps the mdf, chunks just chip off.
