Trying to stay out of the expert’s way, I can now truly appreciate this upgraded elegant look. This was certainly an upgrade from our “plain drain” that we had lived with since we bought our house. The end matched pieces are very sturdy when fitted together, and this snug fit allows you to attach to studs when convenient, skipping a seam if needed. Each board is trimmed to remove major imperfections with no holes or flaws. Boards are reversible to reveal a traditional "V" groove or contemporary nickel gap look. We recommend ordering at least 5% over your needed square footage to account for any custom cuts. Cedar is a highly resistant wood that resists shrinking, swelling, warping, and rotting. Ideal for indoor and outdoor use with its resistance to extreme conditions, perfect for saunas. A porous wood able to absorb and dampen noise making it lightweight and high in bending strength.
