I absolutely love this hood. The black stainless steel matches my other appliances from another brand perfectly. The fan is quite powerful and the dual led lights are amazingly bright and make cooking on the stovetop so much better. It hasn’t been installed long enough to evaluate the longevity or the efficiency of the filters or how easy they are to clean, but considering their size and placement I don’t foresee any problems.. This was a great upgrade from my old extremely outdated vented range. It was on back order so I had to wait 3 weeks before it arrived. Once I had it installed I turned it on and the fan was not working. After moving it around and slightly pushing it in it worked just fine. The overall size showing on the surface is 9" square with a 5-1/2" hood and a 1-1/4" long attachment collar for 6" round ductwork ( not for use with dryer venting ). Equipped with a spring-loaded backdraft damper and bird screen to keep nests and small animals on the outside. The wall cap is made of 22 gauge crack steel construction with a black electrically-bonded epoxy finish for durability and long life. Sold as 1 to a carton.

This was the only vent cap that I could find with 6" round ducting, for use with my Air Exchanger input. Although it worked, with some difficulty and modification, I wish it were made of plastic instead of heavy duty aluminum. It works great nice and quiet. It even passes the tissue test . If you put tissue over the fan cover and if the tissue stays on the cover, you know you have good suction, but it ever falls off you know it’s a terrible fan. . Steve. Linesville, PA. Tue Feb 04 2025

All the components such as damper, mounting hardware, flexible ductwork, and damper are included for easy installation. The adjustable and telescoping chimney can fit a 7.5-8.5 Ft. ceiling. This unit is convertible, can be vented out of your dwelling, or recirculated (ductless) with charcoal filters (sold separately, part # WRHF005S2).

Very nice hood for the price. Gives off a good amount of light but is a little loud at highest fan setting. Had an issue with one of the filters, called wayfair and the person I spoke with went above and beyond to fix the issue. 4 stars for the hood but 5+stars for the customer service.. Deshaunda.
