This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. This dehumidifier has a nice digital display and is easy to read. It has 2 fan speeds and I like the option to set a certain amount of time for the unit to run. Some of the control options are not explained in the user manual (like what is purpose of the “Air Supply” indicator). And the 5 safety instruction regarding cleaning the unit is an example of not being proofed by an English proficient person (photo of page provided). It’s easy to open and remove the water tank for emptying having both the tank and access to the reusable filter in the front is very handy. Although the dehumidifier is a bit heavy, it rolls easily to move from room to room. The unit’s humidity gauge shows a higher room level than our 2 digital gauges, but it seems to be doing a good job of removing humidity from our house. So far it is working well. I gave it 4 stars due to lack of detailed info for the Control Panel. UPDATE After using the unit for a bit, there is a noticeable hum even when running on low. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our secend Frigidaire dehumidifier replacing an 8 year old unit that ran nearly 24/7 in our basement. I love the larger bucket and the "red line" indicator in the sight glass. Much easier to see water level. This arrived very quickly and was packaged very securely so it arrived in perfect condition. It's much heavier than I expected, but that's a good thing since you don't want this tipping over. There was no assembly, so from opening the box to getting it going was quick and easy. So far, it works as expected. The remote has a lot of useful functions including turn off and on the lights at night to reduce the brightness for light sleepers. A few things to know beforehand.
