Great product but would be helpful if you put a large warning sticker on the unit, since my moron installer didn't look at the instructions (or can't read) and didn't use mortar. Tile went on afterward and now we have a very squeaky pan and a difficult repair. Either we remove the tile that was set around it, and the pan, which will be costly, or we try and inject foam underneath. We are going to try the latter. It's unfortunate that you have to idiot-proof a product, but one big 'ol sticker on the pan might have saved us all the hassle!. The recirculation kits performs multi-stage filtration and removes the odor from the gas and smoke that is sucked into the range hood, which removes harmful components and pollutants in the smoke, and effectively solves the problem of using range hoods in houses where the range hood cannot be exhausted. Do not try to clean the charcoal filter in the recirculation kit as it can not be cleaned, Please change the charcoal filter every 4-6 months (depending on hood usage)
