Product unboxed with a dent in the front right middle of door. It's a superficial dent, only on the outside, so it will not affect how the product works. It's frustrating, but I am ok with it. I am sure this thing will get plenty knocked around in the coming years from normal wear and tear. Assembly was a chore, and absolutely takes two people. You CANNOT assemble this by yourself, it is far too heavy. Very well built and sturdy product, besides the handles which appear to be a type of plastic. Works well, but there is a learning curve. Very well built, easy to put together. Don’t know about the burnt grease taste that everyone raves about. I use a water pan under my meat to prevent grease from falling into the coals or onto the diffuser. Came out great. The smoker is equipped with a side wood chip loader, so there's no need to open the door to add wood chips during the smoking process. This helps to seal in the heat of the food. Adding a box of wood chips will last for 2-3 hours of smoking, which helps avoid the need for frequent addition of wood chips and is perfect for beginners. And smoker equipped with 2 rear rolling wheels and handle, you can move the smoker as you like wherever you want to use it. And when you are finished using it, it can easily be moved to a corner without taking up space of your patio.

As it relates to this smoker I can attest that this East Oak Smoker does an amazing job. If using all 4 racks remember to offset the meat so you can experience evenly smoked/cooked meat. The grill was easy to assemble and will be great for this summer in the backyard. However the metal is a little thin and will need to seal as you can see in the first photo, it will be hard to trap the heat because the quality is a little on the lower end. Grill works awesome, did an ostrich leg for Thanksgiving, and the grill holds 250°F for the whole time with 3/4 of a charcoal bag and just adding some mesquite chunks here and there every hour or so, leg came delicius and tender, only reason i dont give five stars is because when i was assembling the grill the paint in the charcoal compartmnt chip off, other than that great product.. Great product, temperature has some fluctuations but overall holds temperature well and the amount of smoke that it produces is perfect. Used one time to make Baby Back ribs with a recipe found on the Blackstone website, the ribs came out much better than I expected, cooked tender with great medium smoke flavor.
