We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. Now if the TV or one of us saying something similar to "Hi Awoco" (prompt for commands) gets her talking we have a good chuckle.. Norma. Ware, MA. Sat Feb 14 2026

MrSteam Remote temperature probe used to accurately read the temperature inside the steam room and send it to the controller.

You will not be receiving this product as pictured. The pictured item is the sensor probe for their commercial stream generators. The residential stream generator only comes with the probe, no metal housing/ grill. Mr. Stan expects you to put the probe within your grout....so not sure how this would work down the road if you ever needed to service or replace this probe...rip out your grout? Also, you'd need to consider your spacing in your grout where you'd be placing this probe. Wish I knew ahead of ordering and then requesting replacement which arrived like the first, no housing/grill. I am obsessed with the design of this sinkkitchen work station. I love how big and open it is so you can wash practically anything with ease, and the depth helps do much. I also absolutely love the gun metal finish. It is so striking. The work station add ins are a big bonus and the cutting board is if really nice quality. The collapsible drainer is ok, but doesn’t look like it will hold up over time. I love how heavy duty the sink is and the noise dampening is another wonderful feature. My only minor complaint is that the drain assembly is plastic , with a plastic nut and I’m not thrilled with that. I would have preferred metal. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
