The header comes with a safety T-lock that ensures the unit’s stability. Moderate DIY Skills are recommended for the installation of the shower enclosure. To reduce the water they recommend placing the interior panel closest to the showerhead. Ensure your measurements are precise and finished wall material is in place before measuring for your shower door. The header and rail will be shipped long and will need cut to size during installation. Tools needed to install the door are: tape measure, level, hacksaw, drill, 7/64-inch, 1/8-inch, ¼-inch drill bits, #2 Phillips screwdriver, 3/16-inch wrench, sharp knife, and caulking (clear silicone recommended). Optional tools include a miter box for cutting parts to length, files, center punch, and masking tape. We absolutely love our new 48" range hood! It shipped and delivered so quickly. It was packaged extremely well. Once we opened it and removed from the packaging, we were pleasantly surprised because of the copper edges. We did not realize the hood had this. We were unable to tell looking at the pictures on Wayfair. This hood matches our oil rubbed bronze fixtures throughout kitchen so nicely. We repurposed very old slate roofing tiles for our wall behind our 1950's stove. When we installed the hood, we used 5 inch iron pipes to have the hood sit out from the wall.
