This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen. We chose this vent hood because we needed one that was ductless . This one was convertible which was a nice option. As far as delivery it comes very well covered in a protective barrier so that you don’t scratch it up during installation. It is very heavy so keep that in mind for install. A nice bonus that is comes with, you get a pack of towels, pot holders , and oven mitts which I thought was a really nice set of thoughtful extras that wasn’t even advertised.
