I like this light. It is a great concept and really does give the effect of a skylight. Installation was straight forward with an existing light connection and didn't require too much work. Great product for the price. The LEDs make it easy to change colors. Easy to install. This is the 10" and we could have gone a little bigger for the space. Had we gone with the 13" we wouldn't have to touch up paint around it, but I also like that they aren't that noticeable and something bigger might have been too obtrusive as this is just a small rectangle between multiple rooms. Unfortunately, these lights don’t work in my house. They are made for new construction and in order to make them work in an older house. You have to retrofit the light fixture, which would cost more money than it’s worth. They are not made to go right into an existing light fixture. You will need to order the springs from the company for them to work unless you have newer construction they won’t work. That being said, they seem like good quality. Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. Please make sure it can be exposed to direct sunlight. Insert it into soft soil or dig a hole for it in advance. We recommend keeping the solar panel clean always. They are IP65 waterproof so they can withstand rain, but they cannot be put into water for a long time, please don't lay them in a low-lay area to avoid soaking in water.

Beautiful lights! I purchased these for the entrance to our subdivision. The area is very dark at night and many of the residents worry that someone will run into our signage wall. These little lights are very bright and I placed them around each end of the island. I did not place them in the center, however, I think aesthetically it will look better having them all around the island so, I will purchase more. They are dusk to dawn and they stay on all night.
